As a firm we strive to operate our own business and that of our portfolio companies, to the highest ethical standards and support the UN Principles of Responsible Investment – the world’s leading investor initiative for responsible investing.
As a hands-on investor, H2 Equity Partners always takes one or more board seats in the companies we invest in. Those board positions are taken up by our own team-members, not external non-executive representatives. As such this allows us to directly use our influence to monitor ESG matters at board-level within our portfolio companies and to share best practices across our portfolio.
We have integrated ESG into our investment process and believe that good management of environmental, social and governance issues and operating in an ethical manner are crucial parts of risk management and ultimately supports long term business (out) performance.
