In May 2022, RAM Tracking (“RAM”) acquired Rewire Security (“Rewire”), a complementary UK-based, SaaS-enabled fleet management business with a subscription base of c.45,000 across a largely SME customer base.
The Rewire acquisition represents a further step towards RAM realising its ambition of becoming the clear number one operator in the UK’s growing SME fleet management market. RAM’s total subscription base now stands at c.175,000 which collectively generates revenues in excess of £20 million. As part of the transaction, RAM also acquired Rewire’s nascent European operation, thereby providing it with access to a new and highly attractive fleet management market.
Rewire was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Bristol with operations in Turkey, where its IT function is located, and Slovakia, from where it sells into continental Europe. Its founders and the wider management team are remaining in place to continue to grow the business and to support with its integration.
